Στις Βρυξέλλες για το Συμβούλιο Εξωτερικών Υποθέσεων της ΕΕ ο Ν. Δένδιας

Στις Βρυξέλλες μεταβαίνει αύριο Δευτέρα 24 Ιανουαρίου ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών Νίκος Δένδιας, όπου θα συμμετάσχει στο Συμβούλιο Εξωτερικών Υποθέσεων (ΣΕΥ) της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

 

Πριν από την έναρξη των εργασιών του Συμβουλίου, ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών θα συμμετάσχει μαζί με τους ομόλογούς του σε άτυπο πρόγευμα εργασίας, που διοργανώνει ο Κύπριος υπουργός Εξωτερικών Ιωάννης Κασουλίδης, με τον υπουργό Εξωτερικών του Κουβέιτ Αχμάντ Νάσερ Μοχάμεντ Αλ-Σαμπάχ (Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah), σύμφωνα με σχετική ανακοίνωση του υπουργείου Εξωτερικών.

 

Τα θέματα της ημερήσιας διάταξης του ΣΕΥ θα είναι οι τελευταίες εξελίξεις στη Συρία και τη Λιβύη, καθώς και η κατάσταση ασφαλείας στην Ανατολική Ευρώπη. Θα ακολουθήσει συζήτηση, μέσω τηλεδιάσκεψης, για το τελευταίο θέμα, των υπουργών Εξωτερικών της ΕΕ με τον Αμερικανό ομόλογό τους 'Αντονι Μπλίνκεν (Anthony Blinken).

 

Ακόμη οι υπουργοί Εξωτερικών θα ανταλλάξουν απόψεις για την πολιτική της ΕΕ στην περιοχή του Ινδο - Ειρηνικού, καθώς και για τις εξελίξεις στο Μαλί και το Σουδάν. Επιπλέον, θα συζητηθεί η τρέχουσα πολιτική κατάσταση στη Βοσνία - Ερζεγοβίνη, κατόπιν κοινής πρότασης της Ελλάδας και της Κροατίας.

 

Τέλος, στο περιθώριο του ΣΕΥ, ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών αναμένεται να έχει κατ' ιδίαν συνάντηση με τον Ειδικό Εκπρόσωπο της ΕΕ για τον Διάλογο Βελιγραδίου - Πρίστινας Μίροσλαβ Λάιτσακ (Miroslav Lajčák).
