Στ. Κυριακίδου: Πακέτο μέτρων για την αντιμέτωπιση της έλλειψης φαρμάκων

Νέο πακέτο προτάσεων νομοθετικών αλλαγών και νέα φαρμακευτική στρατηγική με στόχο την προσβασιμότητα και την επάρκεια φαρμάκων αναμένεται να παρουσιάσει η Κομισιόν τους επόμενους δύο μήνες, τόνισε η επίτροπος Υγείας και Ασφάλειας Τροφίμων, Στέλλα Κυριακίδου, μιλώντας στο κεντρικό δελτίο ειδήσεων της ΕΡΤ πριν από λίγο. Επίσης, ανέφερε ότι απάντησε σήμερα στην επιστολή του υπουργού Υγείας, Θάνου Πλεύρη, υπογραμμίζοντας ότι η ΕΕ βρίσκεται στο πλευρό της Ελλάδας και άλλων χωρών που το χρειάζονται.

 

   Σε σχέση με τον κορονοϊό, η κ. Κυριακίδου υπογράμμισε ότι η ΕΕ βρίσκεται σε επιφυλακή και ότι η πανδημία δεν έχει λήξει. «Πρέπει να είμαστε προετοιμασμένοι για πιθανή έξαρση» σημείωσε η ευρωπαία επίτροπος και ανέφερε ότι η εικόνα της Κίνας δεν είναι ξεκάθαρη, τονίζοντας ότι πρέπει να υπάρχει αποφασιστικότητα και συντονισμός των κρατών-μελών.

 

   «Η διαφάνεια είναι σημαντική και δεν μπορώ να αποκλείσω αύξηση περιστατικών» σημείωσε η κ. Κυριακίδου. Τέλος, τόνισε ότι ο εμβολιασμός και τα εμβόλια πραμένουν η ασπίδα μας και ζήτησε από όλους τους πολίτες να προχωρήσουν σε ενισχυτική δόση, διότι όπως πρόσθεσε «δεν μπορούμε να προβλέψουμε πώς θα εξελιχθεί η επιδημιολογική εικόνα στα κράτη-μέλη».
