Χρ. Σταϊκούρας: Δημοσιονομικός χώρος τον Φεβρουάριο για επιπλέον μέτρα στήριξης

«Εκτιμούμε ότι επιπλέον (δημοσιονομικός) χώρος θα δημιουργηθεί τον Φεβρουάριο» για πρόσθετες παρεμβάσεις στήριξης των ευάλωτων νοικοκυριών. Αυτό δήλωσε ο υπουργός Οικονομικών Χρήστος Σταϊκούρας στον τηλεοπτικό σταθμό Action24, επιβεβαιώνοντας παράλληλα και το σημερινό ρεπορτάζ του ΑΠΕ- ΜΠΕ με τίτλο «Προς νέο πακέτο στήριξης για τα ευάλωτα νοικοκυριά».

Ο κ. Σταϊκούρας περιέγραψε τι έχει γίνει από την κυβέρνηση έως τώρα, επισημαίνοντας ότι ήδη έχουν δοθεί 2,5 δισ. ευρώ. «Αυξήθηκαν σημαντικά οι συντάξεις, καταργήθηκε η εισφορά αλληλεγγύης, άρα οι δημόσιοι υπάλληλοι είδαν για πρώτη φορά αύξηση του μισθού τους», είπε, μεταξύ άλλων, και πρόσθεσε: «Πού βρισκόμαστε τώρα; Υλοποιούμε τα μέτρα που είχαμε ανακοινώσει και προσπαθούμε να βρούμε δημοσιονομικό χώρο για πρόσθετες παρεμβάσεις».

Σύμφωνα με τον υπουργό Οικονομικών, τελικά το 2022 φαίνεται ότι τα φορολογικά έσοδα πήγαν ακόμη καλύτερα από τις εκτιμήσεις του προϋπολογισμού, και φαίνεται ότι η τιμή του φυσικού αερίου θα κινηθεί- αν και υπάρχουν υψηλές αβεβαιότητες- σε χαμηλότερα επίπεδα από ό,τι προέβλεπε ο προϋπολογισμός. «Τούτων δοθέντων, εκτιμούμε ότι αρχίζει να δημιουργείται ένας δημοσιονομικός χώρος, που όμως θα πρέπει να είναι ασφαλής. Όταν θα το ξέρουμε θα γίνουν εισηγήσεις στον πρωθυπουργό, ο οποίος θα θέσει τις προτεραιότητες. Θέλει σύνεση και υπευθυνότητα», κατέληξε.
