BAFTA: Το "Ουδέν νεώτερον από το Δυτικό Μέτωπο" απέσπασε το βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας

Η γερμανική ταινία του Έντβαρντ Μπέργκερ «Ουδέν νεώτερον από το Δυτικό Μέτωπο» σάρωσε τα βραβεία BAFTA αφού απέσπασε και το βραβείο καλύτερης ταινίας στην αποψινή απονομή, στο Royal Festival Hall του Λονδίνου.

Ο Αμερικανός ηθοποιός Όστιν Μπάτλερ κέρδισε το βραβείο BAFTA καλύτερου ανδρικού ρόλου για την ερμηνεία του στη βιογραφική ταινία «Έλβις», όπου υποδύεται τον θρύλο του ροκ-εντ-ρολ.

Ο 31χρονος Μπάτλερ ήταν από τα φαβορί για το βραβείο, μαζί με τους Κόλιν Φάρελ και Μπρένταν Φρέιζερ.

Το βραβείο καλύτερου γυναικείου ρόλου απονεμήθηκε στην Κέιτ Μπλάνσετ για την ερμηνεία της στην ταινία Tar, όπου υποδύεται μια διευθύντρια ορχήστρας η οποία εμπλέκεται σε ένα σκάνδαλο.
