Oριακή αύξηση 4% σημείωσε η πληρότητα των ξενοδοχείων της Αθήνας τον Οκτώβριο του 2022, όπως τονίζεται σε ανακοίνωση της Ενωσης Ξενοδόχων Αθηνών Αττικής και Αργοσαρωνικού. Την ίδια στιγμή η πορεία όλης της χρονιάς μέχρι και τον Οκτώβριο δεν κατάφερε να εξελιχθεί προς θετικό πρόσημο και συγκεκριμένα η μέση πληρότητα του 10μηνου του 2022 καταγράφηκε με πτώση 12,5% έναντι του αντίστοιχου 10μήνου του 2019.   Ο Οκτώβριος, συμπερασματικά, σαφώς κινήθηκε λίγο καλύτερα από τους προηγούμενους μήνες (αυτό και σε σχέση με ορισμένους από τους ανταγωνιστές της Αθήνας) οι επιδόσεις της Αθήνας ωστόσο συγκρινόμενες με αυτές των πόλεων ανταγωνιστών της, σίγουρα δεν είναι οι ιδανικές, ούτε σε επίπεδο 10μήνου, ούτε και διαχρονικά, πάντα με τα όσα υπογραμμίζει η ένωση σε σχετική ανακοίνωση.  Η ΕΞΑΑΑ υποστηρίζει ότι "βρισκόμαστε σε μια δύσκολη -διαχρονικά- διαδρομή, όπου η Αθήνα σε όλα σχεδόν, ‘ακολουθεί’ τις ευρωπαϊκές πρωτεύουσες. Παράδειγμα αποτελεί η μέση τιμή δωματίου για την Αθήνα που φτάνει τα 125.39 ευρώ, ενώ στον ίδιο πίνακα βλέπουμε να σημειώνονται πολύ καλύτερες επιδόσεις σε τιμές δωματίου στους παραδοσιακούς ανταγωνιστές της Αθήνας, όπως Κωνσταντινούπολη, Μαδρίτη, Βαρκελώνη, Ρώμη" κ.ά.   πηγή amna.gr
