Xάλκινες κοριτσάρες έγραψαν ιστορία και πήγαν Παρίσι!

Έγραψε ιστορία η Εθνική ομάδα πόλο γυναικών της Ελλάδας! Οι κοριτσάρες της Αλεξίας Καμμένου, με φανταστική άμυνα για 26 λεπτά απέναντι στην Ιταλία, κατάφεραν να επικρατήσουν 7-6 στον μικρό τελικό του Ευρωπαϊκού Πρωταθλήματος στο Αϊντχόφεν, να πάρουν το χάλκινο μετάλλιο και παράλληλα να «καπαρώσουν» το εισιτήριο για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού το ερχόμενο καλοκαίρι!

Σπουδαία εμφάνιση από την τερματοφύλακα της «γαλανόλευκης» , Ιωάννα Σταματοπούλου, η οποία απέκρουσε πέναλτι στο δεύτερο οκτάλεπτο και έκανε την επέμβαση του αγώνα 30" πριν τη λήξη με το σκορ στο 7-6!

Αυτό είναι το 13ο μετάλλιο της Εθνικής πόλο γυναικών σε όλες της διοργανώσεις με την επιστροφή σε Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες να είναι γεγονός έπειτα από 16 χρόνια απουσίας!
