Ο τυφώνας Χίλαρι έπληξε τη Μπάχα Καλιφόρνια

Ο τροπικός τυφώνας Χίλαρι προκάλεσε σήμερα κατολισθήσεις στη Χερσόνησο Μπάχα Καλιφόρνια, πλήττοντας την περιοχή με σφοδρές βροχοπτώσεις, ενώ κατευθύνεται προς τις νοτιοδυτικές περιοχές των ΗΠΑ, για τις οποίες, οι προβλέψεις των μετεωρολόγων αναφέρουν “ καταστροφικές” πλημμύρες που θα απειλήσουν τη ζωή των ανθρώπων.

Ένα άτομο έχασε τη ζωή του στο Μεξικό, μετά από αναφορές για πλημμύρες στη χερσόνησο, όπου μερικοί δρόμοι εξαφανίστηκαν, ενώ φωτογραφίες που αναρτήθηκαν στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης έδειχναν μανιασμένους χείμαρρους να πλημμυρίζουν τους δρόμους πόλεων, καθώς είχαν μετατραπεί σε ποτάμια.
