Κυρ. Μητσοτάκης: Επίσκεψη στην Πάρνηθα

Ο Πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης επισκέφθηκε το απόγευμα την Πάρνηθα, μέχρι το Πυροφυλάκιο της Κυράς, στην κορυφή του βουνού, και ενημερώθηκε από τα στελέχη του Πυροσβεστικού Σώματος για τις επιχειρήσεις κατάσβεσης με εναέρια και επίγεια μέσα που βρίσκονταν εκείνη την ώρα σε εξέλιξη στο δυτικό μέτωπο της πυρκαγιάς, έχοντας από το σημείο πλήρη εικόνα των περιοχών που επλήγησαν.

Τον κ. Μητσοτάκη συνόδευαν ο Υπουργός Κλιματικής Κρίσης και Πολιτικής Προστασίας Βασίλης Κικίλιας, ο Γενικός Γραμματέας Πολιτικής Προστασίας Βασίλης Παπαγεωργίου, ο Επιτελάρχης του Πυροσβεστικού Σώματος, Αντιστράτηγος Χρήστος Λάμπρης και ο Γενικός Διευθυντής Δασών και Δασικού Περιβάλλοντος του ΥΠΕΝ Βαγγέλης Γκουντούφας, με τους οποίους συζήτησε τα έργα που υλοποιήθηκαν και υλοποιούνται για τη διεύρυνση των αντιπυρικών ζωνών που είχαν δημιουργηθεί πριν την έναρξη της αντιπυρικής περιόδου και την περαιτέρω ενίσχυση των μέτρων προστασίας.
