Αποκλεισμός στον πρώτο γύρο του μεικτού διπλού για Σάκκαρη/Τσιτσιπά

Αποκλεισμός... με το καλησπέρα για τους Μαρία Σάκκαρη και Στέφανο Τσιτσιπά στο μεικτό διπλό τένις των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων του Παρισιού. Το ολλανδικό δίδυμο Ντέμι Σουρς/Γουέσλι Κούλχοφ επικράτησε των Ελλήνων με 2-0 σετ (6-4, 7-6 (3) και θα συνεχίσουν στη διοργάνωση, σε αντίθεση με το ελληνικό δίδυμο που αποχαιρέτησε το αγώνισμα από τον πρώτο κιόλας γύρο.

 

Σάκκαρη και Τσιτσιπάς (και οι δύο είχαν παίξει νωρίτερα στο απλό γυναικών και ανδρών κερδίζοντας ισάριθμες προκρίσεις) προσπάθησαν πάρα πολύ απέναντι στο σαφώς πιο έμπειρο δίδυμο στα διπλά, έχασαν το πρώτο σετ με 6-4 και το δεύτερο στις λεπτομέρειες.
