Η τουριστική διπλωματία στο επίκεντρο συνάντησης της Ό. Κεφαλογιάννη με τον Γ. Γεραπετρίτη

H καλύτερη και αποτελεσματικότερη άσκηση της τουριστικής διπλωματίας, που αποτελεί βασικό όχημα της εξωστρέφειας και της προβολής της εικόνας της χώρας μας διεθνώς, ήταν το βασικό θέμα της συνάντησης που είχε σήμερα η υπουργός Τουρισμού Όλγα Κεφαλογιάννη, με τον υπουργό Εξωτερικών Γεώργιο Γεραπετρίτη, στο γραφείο του.

 

Ειδικότερα, οι δύο υπουργοί συζήτησαν τρόπους στενότερης συνεργασίας μεταξύ των δύο υπουργείων και για τις δυνατότητες θεσμοθέτησης της σύμπραξης και αλληλοβοήθειας των διπλωματικών και προξενικών μας Αρχών με τα κατά τόπους Γραφεία του ΕΟΤ στο εξωτερικό, καθώς και την ενδεχόμενη ενίσχυσή τους με εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό του υπουργείου Τουρισμού και του ΕΟΤ, στις χώρες όπου δεν λειτουργούν Γραφεία του Οργανισμού, για την καλύτερη άσκηση της τουριστικής διπλωματίας.

 

Επίσης, συζήτησαν και τρόπους βελτίωσης των διαδικασιών χορήγησης των θεωρήσεων, με σκοπό την ταχύτερη έκδοσή τους, ιδίως στις χώρες οι οποίες αποτελούν εν δυνάμει σημαντικές τουριστικές αγορές για την Ελλάδα.
