«Καθάρισε» ο Πανιώνιος

Με ένα προσωπικό σόου του Κώστα Γκιουβέτση, ο Πανιώνιος επιβλήθηκε 16-9 της ισπανικής Τενερίφε Ετσεϊδε και ξεκίνησε νικηφόρα τις υποχρεώσεις του στον 5ο προκριματικό όμιλο του Euro Cup υδατοσφαίρισης ανδρών, τον οποίο φιλοξενεί στο δημοτικό κολυμβητήριο της Νέας Σμύρνης.

Ο διεθνής περιφερειακός πέτυχε συνολικά έξι τέρματα, μεταξύ των οποίων πέντε συνεχόμενα μέσα σε ένα διάστημα 3΄40΄΄ στο δεύτερο οκτάλεπτο, που μετέτρεψαν το 5-2 σε 10-2 και διασφάλισαν από νωρίς την "κυανέρυθρη" νίκη.

 

Την ομάδα του Τάκη Δήμου περιμένουν το ερχόμενο διήμερο σαφώς πιο δύσκολα παιχνίδια, απέναντι σε δύο πρώην πρωταθλήτριες Ευρώπης. Αύριο Σάββατο (28/9, 18:30) θα αντιμετωπίσει την ουγγρική Τσόλνοκι και την Κυριακή (29/9, 12:30) τη γερμανική Σπαντάου. Να σημειωθεί ότι, στο άλλο σημερινό παιχνίδι, οι νεανικοί Μαγυάροι επικράτησαν της πολύ έμπειρης Σπαντάου με 11-7.
