Αποκλεισμός για Τσιτσιπά

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς δεν κατάφερε να ξεπεράσει το εμπόδιο του Σεμπάστιαν Κόρντα (No.25) και γνώρισε την ήττα με 2-0 σετ (7-6, 6-3), ολοκληρώνοντας την πορεία του στο Miami Open στη φάση των «32».

 

Ο Έλληνας τενίστας πάλεψε σκληρά στο πρώτο σετ, ανατρέποντας προσωρινά το προβάδισμα του Αμερικανού, ωστόσο λύγισε στις λεπτομέρειες, χάνοντας το tie-break με 7-6. 

 

Στο δεύτερο σετ, ο Τσιτσιπάς δεν κατάφερε να διατηρήσει τον ίδιο ρυθμό, επιτρέποντας στον αντίπαλό του να πάρει προβάδισμα τεσσάρων games. Παρότι μείωσε σε 4-2, ο Κόρντα διατήρησε τον έλεγχο και εξασφάλισε τη νίκη, επικρατώντας με 6-3.
