Ο Τραμπ προειδοποιεί το Ιράν με «πολύ ισχυρή δράση» σε περίπτωση που διαδηλωτές οδηγηθούν στην κρεμάλα

Ο αμερικανός πρόεδρος Ντόναλντ Τραμπ δήλωσε σήμερα ότι οι ΗΠΑ θα αναλάβουν «πολύ ισχυρή δράση» εάν η κυβέρνηση του Ιράν προβεί σε απαγχονισμούς διαδηλωτών, χωρίς όμως να υπεισέλθει σε περαιτέρω διευκρινίσεις.

 

Σε συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε στο CBS News, ο Τραμπ κλήθηκε να σχολιάσει τις πληροφορίες πως ένας 26χρονος ιρανός διαδηλωτής θα οδηγηθεί στην κρεμάλα την Τετάρτη. «Δεν έχω ακούσει για αυτόν τον απαγχονισμό... Θα αναλάβουμε πολύ ισχυρή δράση, εάν κάνουν κάτι τέτοιο», προειδοποίησε.

 

Μέσω ανάρτησής του στην πλατφόρμα Truth Social, ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ παρότρυνε τους Ιρανούς να συνεχίσουν τις διαδηλώσεις με στόχο την ανατροπή του καθεστώτος, υποσχόμενος πως «η βοήθεια είναι καθ’ οδόν». Ακολούθως όμως αρνήθηκε να διευκρινίσει τι εννοούσε και, όταν ρωτήθηκε από δημοσιογράφο, απάντησε: «Θα πρέπει να το ανακαλύψετε μόνοι σας, λυπάμαι...».
