Πακιστάν: Ολοκληρώθηκαν δύο γύροι συνομιλιών μεταξύ του Ιράν και των ΗΠΑ

Η κρατική ιρανική τηλεόραση μετέδωσε απόψε ότι έχουν ήδη γίνει δύο γύροι ειρηνευτικών συνομιλιών μεταξύ του Ιράν και των ΗΠΑ στο Πακιστάν και ένας τρίτος πιθανότατα θα διεξαχθεί «απόψε ή αύριο» Κυριακή.

 

 

 

«Οι εμπειρογνώμονες και των δύο πλευρών ανταλλάζουν κείμενα» για να καταλήξουν σε μια ειρηνευτική συμφωνία, πέραν της 15μερης κατάπαυσης του πυρός που τέθηκε σε ισχύ την Τετάρτη, πρόσθεσε η τηλεόραση, που επικαλείται πληροφορίες «από ένα άτομο προσκείμενο στους Ιρανούς διαπραγματευτές».

 

Ένας δημοσιογράφος της κρατικής τηλεόρασης που βρίσκεται στο Ισλαμαμπάντ είπε ότι καταβάλλονται «οι τελευταίες προσπάθειες» για να κλείσει το χάσμα μεταξύ των δύο πλευρών, λέγοντας ότι οι ΗΠΑ εξακολουθούν να προβάλουν «εξωφρενικές απαιτήσεις».

 

Η εφημερίδα Financial Times έγραψε ότι οι διαπραγματευτές έχουν βρεθεί «σε αδιέξοδο» σε ό,τι αφορά τα Στενά του Ορμούζ.

 

Νωρίτερα σήμερα, δύο Πακιστανοί αξιωματούχοι αποκάλυψαν στο Γαλλικό Πρακτορείο ότι διεξήχθησαν δύο αλλεπάλληλοι γύροι συνομιλιών. Η μία πηγή έκανε λόγο για «ατμόσφαιρα γενικώς (...) εγκάρδια» στις συνομιλίες αυτές.
