Ιράν - ΥΠΕΞ Αραγτσί: Οι επαφές με τις ΗΠΑ δεν διακόπηκαν αλλά δεν υπάρχει πρόοδος στις διαπραγματεύσεις

Ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών του Ιράν Αμπάς Αραγτσί, σε συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε σήμερα στο λιβανέζικο τηλεοπτικό κανάλι Al Mayadeen, είπε ότι οι επαφές της Τεχεράνης με την Ουάσιγκτον δεν διακόπηκαν, ωστόσο δεν έχει επιτευχθεί πρόοδος στις διαπραγματεύσεις.

 

Και οι δύο πλευρές εξετάζουν τα «κείμενα» που αντάλλαξαν μεταξύ τους, πρόσθεσε.

 

Ο Αραγτσί προειδοποίησε ότι σε περίπτωση επίθεσης στη Βηρυτό ο πόλεμος στη Μέση Ανατολή θα ξανάρχιζε «σε μεγάλη κλίμακα», σχολιάζοντας τις απειλές του Ισραήλ απέναντι στη Χεζμπολάχ.

 

«Αν η ισραηλινή επιθετικότητα εναντίον της Βηρυτού συνεχιστεί, οι ένοπλες δυνάμεις μας είναι απολύτως έτοιμες να ξαναρχίσουν τον πόλεμο και να πλήξουν στόχους εντός του Ισραήλ», είπε ο Ιρανός υπουργός.

 

Την Τρίτη, ο υπουργός Άμυνας του Ισραήλ, Ίσραελ Κατς, είπε ότι οι ισραηλινές δυνάμεις θα πλήξουν τα νότια προάστια της Βηρυτού, το προπύργιο της Χεζμπολάχ, εάν μπει στο στόχαστρο το ισραηλινό έδαφος.
