Η Τεχεράνη χαρακτηρίζει «οικονομική τρομοκρατία» τις νέες αμερικανικές κυρώσεις

Το υπουργείο Εξωτερικών του Ιράν καταδίκασε σήμερα τις πρόσφατα ανακοινωθείσες οικονομικές και εμπορικές κυρώσεις των ΗΠΑ, λέγοντας ότι αυτές στοχεύουν απλούς Ιρανούς και οι κυρώσεις συνιστούν «οικονομική τρομοκρατία» και εγκλήματα κατά της ανθρωπότητας.

 

Ο πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ Ντόναλντ Τραμπ προειδοποίησε χθες Τετάρτη για σαρωτικές οικονομικές συνέπειες σε οποιαδήποτε χώρα παρέχει αυτό που αποκάλεσε «οποιοδήποτε είδος σανίδας σωτηρίας στο Ιράν», απειλώντας με οικονομικό πόλεμο και απομόνωση σε πρωτοφανή κλίμακα.

 

Το ιρανικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών δήλωσε ότι τα μέτρα δεν θα αποδυναμώσουν την αποφασιστικότητα της Τεχεράνης να υπερασπιστεί την ανεξαρτησία, την εθνική κυριαρχία και τα συμφέροντά της.
