Πούτιν: Ευρωπαϊκά στρατεύματα στην Ουκρανία ισοδυναμεί με πόλεμο εναντίον της Ρωσίας

Ο πρόεδρος της Ρωσίας Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν προειδοποίησε σήμερα ότι οποιαδήποτε ανάπτυξη ευρωπαϊκών στρατευμάτων στην Ουκρανία θα ισοδυναμούσε με «πόλεμο εναντίον της Ρωσίας», σημειώνοντας παράλληλα ότι η Μόσχα δεν «απειλεί» τις ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.

 

«Αυτή τη στιγμή, αυτοί (σ.σ. οι Ευρωπαίοι ηγέτες) δηλώνουν ότι εξετάζουν τον τρόπο με τον οποίο θα στείλουν στρατεύματα στο ουκρανικό έδαφος. Αυτό σημαίνει πόλεμος εναντίον της Ρωσίας», δήλωσε ο κ. Πούτιν, σύμφωνα με ρωσικά πρακτορεία ειδήσεων.

 

«Δεν απειλούμε και δεν σκοπεύουμε να απειλήσουμε τις ευρωπαϊκές χώρες. Γιατί να το κάνουμε; Κανείς δεν αντιλαμβάνεται καν ότι δεν έχουμε κανέναν λόγο να συγκρουστούμε με την Ευρώπη», πρόσθεσε, από το Νέο Δελχί όπου βρίσκεται για τη σύνοδο των BRICS.

 

Ο Πούτιν εκτίμησε ότι οι Ευρωπαίοι ηγέτες «τρομοκρατούν τον πληθυσμό (τους) με μια φανταστική απειλή προερχόμενη από τη Ρωσία», υπογραμμίζοντας ότι «αυτή η απειλή δεν υπάρχει και ποτέ δεν υπήρξε».

 

Η Ρωσία ανέκαθεν θεωρούσε την αποστολή δυτικών στρατευμάτων στην Ουκρανία ως κόκκινη γραμμή που δεν πρέπει να ξεπεραστεί. Η ιδέα αυτή συζητείται εδώ και πολλά χρόνια από τους Ευρωπαίους ηγέτες, αλλά ποτέ δεν πήρε συγκεκριμένη μορφή.
