«Έσβησε» στα 61 του χρόνια ο διεθνής Νιγηριανός τερματοφύλακας Πέτερ Ρουφάι

 

Ένας από τους σπουδαιότερους Αφρικανούς τερματοφύλακες δεν βρίσκεται πια στη ζωή, με τον Πίτερ Ρουφάι να «φεύγει» σε ηλικία 61 ετών.

Ο παλαίμαχος τερματοφύλακας, που αγωνίστηκε για 15 χρόνια με την εθνική Νιγηρίας και συμμετείχε σε δύο Παγκόσμια Κύπελλα (1994 & 1998), φέρεται να πάλεψε με σοβαρή ασθένεια, πριν ο θάνατός του γίνει γνωστός την Πέμπτη (03/07).

Ο Ρουφάι έπαιξε σε αρκετές χώρες της Ευρώπης, φορώντας τις φανέλες των Λόκερεν, Μπέβερεν, Γκόου Αχέντι Ιγκλς, Φαρένσε, Χέρκουλες, Λα Κορούνια και Ζιλ Βισέντε.
