«Ασημένια» η Πολακτσίδου στην άρση βαρών

Στο δεύτερο σκαλί του βάθρου ανέβηκε η Δέσποινα Πολακτσίδου στους Μεσογειακούς Αγώνες που διεξάγονται στο Τάραντο, προσθέτοντας ακόμη μία σημαντική επιτυχία για τα ελληνικά χρώματα στην άρση βαρών.

 

Η 26χρονη αθλήτρια κατέκτησε το ασημένιο μετάλλιο στο επολέ ζετέ της κατηγορίας των 69 κιλών, ολοκληρώνοντας την προσπάθειά της με επιτυχημένη άρση στα 128 κιλά. Η Πολακτσίδου ξεκίνησε περνώντας τα 112 κιλά, δεν κατάφερε να ολοκληρώσει τη δεύτερη προσπάθειά της στα 125, ωστόσο στην τρίτη και τελευταία άρση της «κλείδωσε» το μετάλλιο με τα 128 κιλά.

 

Το χρυσό μετάλλιο κατέκτησε η Ρουφίντα Αμπντελταβάμπ από την Αίγυπτο, με επίδοση 129 κιλών, ενώ την τρίτη θέση και το χάλκινο πήρε η Τουρκάλα Νουράι Γκουνγκόρ, η οποία σήκωσε 124 κιλά.
