«Βόμβα» στο Γουίμπλεντον: Η Πουτίντσεβα απέκλεισε την Σφιάτεκ!

Οι ελπίδες της Ίγκα Σφιάτεκ για την κατάκτηση του Γουίμπλεντον έλαβαν τέλος καθώς το νούμερο ένα στον κόσμο γνώρισε απρόσμενη ήττα από την Γιούλια Πουτίντσεβα, από το Καζακστάν, στον τρίτο γύρο της διοργάνωσης με 3-6 6-1 6-2.

 

Η Σφιάτεκ φαινόταν να οδεύει εύκολα προς τη νίκη μετά το πρώτο σετ, αλλά η Πουτίντσεβα έκανε την ανατροπή και προκρίθηκε για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα της στον 4ο γύρο (φάση των «16») του κορυφαίου Grand Slam, όπου θα αντιμετωπίσει την Γελένα Οσταπένκο.
