«Ραντεβού» με Ραντουκάνου στις «32» η Σάκκαρη

Παίζοντας κατά διαστήματα πολύ καλό τένις η Μαρία Σάκκαρη επικράτησε με 2-0 (7-5, 6-3) της Αράντσκα Ρους μετά από μια ώρα και 29 λεπτά, παίρνοντας το «εισιτήριο» για τον 3ο γύρο του  Wimbledon. Εκεί όπου θα συναντήσει την Βρετανή, Εμα Ραντουκάνου.

 

Η Σάκκαρη έκανε το 6-0 απέναντι στη σημερινή της αντίπαλο στις μεταξύ τους αναμετρήσεις, εκμεταλλευόμενη κυρίως το σερβίς της και την αποτελεσματικότητα στο παιχνίδι της στα κρίσιμα σημεία.

 

Η Ελληνίδα πρωταθλήτρια τελείωσε την αναμέτρηση με 5 άσους (2 διπλά λάθη), πέρασε το 55% των πρώτων σερβίς, κερδίζοντας το 83% των πόντων (30/36) και το 60% στο δεύτερο (18/30). Έσβησε και τα δύο μπρέικ πόιντς της Ρους, ενώ αντίθετα δεν είπε «όχι» στις 2 από τις τρεις ευκαιρίες που της δόθηκαμν για να «σπάσει» το σερβίς της Ολλανδής.

 

Είχει επίσης 5 winners παραπάνω από την αντίπαλό της, καθώς και 2 αβίαστα λιγότερα (17-19).

 

Στην φάση των «32» του κορυφαίου Grand Slam η νο9 του κόσμου θα αντιμετωπίσει την Έμα Ραντουκάνου, η οποία με τη σειρά της επικράτησε την Ελίζε Μέρτενς με 6-1, 6-2.
