"Άλωσε" το Βίλα Παρκ η Άρσεναλ

Η Άρσεναλ έγινε η 4η ομάδα που έκανε το 2/2 στο ξεκίνημα της Premier League. Η πρωταθλήτρια πέρασε με «διπλό» από το «Βίλα Παρκ» με 1-0 επί της Αστον Βίλα, στο ματς με το οποίο έπεσε η «αυλαία» της 2ης αγωνιστικής.

 

Ο Χρήστος Τζόλης βρέθηκε στο αρχικό σχήμα για δεύτερο σερί παιχνίδι, ωστόσο, ο Μικέλ Αρτέτα, τον αντικατέστησε στο 46ο λεπτό με τον Έζε. Το γκολ που έκρινε την αναμέτρηση πέτυχε ο Σάκα στο 59', οι «χωριάτες» προσπάθησαν ν' αντιδράσουν, παρά ταύτα έμειναν χωρίς βαθμό στο ξεκίνημα της σεζόν.
