Άνετη και ωραία η Σίτι, βαριά ήττα για την Μπενφίκα του Παυλίδη από τη Νιούκαστλ

Δίχως να συναντήσει ιδιαίτερες δυσκολίες στην Ισπανία, η Μάντσεστερ Σίτι επιβλήθηκε 2-0 της Βιγιαρεάλ και έφτασε τους επτά βαθμούς στη league phase του Champions League.

Οι «πολίτες» καθάρισαν το ματς από το πρώτο μέρος, με τον καυτό Χάαλαντ να ανοίγει το σκορ στο 17ο λεπτό και τον Σίλβα να διαμορφώνει το τελικό αποτέλεσμα πέντε λεπτά πριν την ανάπαυλα.

 

Σπουδαία νίκη πανηγύρισε η Νιουκάστλ, που επικράτησε 3-0 της Μπενφίκα του Βαγγέλη Παυλίδη εντός έδρας. Ο Γκόρντον άνοιξε τον δρόμο για τη νίκη σκοράροντας στο 32’, με τον Μπαρνς να πετυχαίνει δύο τέρματα στο 71’ και στο 83’ για να σφραγίσει το τρίποντο των Βρετανών.

 

Αυτή ήταν η τρίτη ήττα σε ισάριθμα ματς για την ομάδα του Ζοσέ Μουρίνιο, που δεν έχει ακόμα βαθμό στη διοργάνωση.
