Έκτη θέση για τον Ντούσκο στον τελικό του μονού σκιφ

Την έκτη θέση κατέλαβε ο Στέφανος Ντούσκος στον τελικό του μονού σκιφ ανδρών, που διεξήχθη το πρωί του Σαββάτου κατά την 8η ημέρα των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων.

 

Ο χρυσός Ολυμπιονίκης του Τόκιο βρισκόταν στην 5η θέση στα πρώτα 500 μέτρα, ωστόσο στο επόμενο μισό χιλιόμετρο κατάφερε να περάσει τρίτος.

 

Εντούτοις στα 1.500 έπεσε στην 4η θέση και κάπου εκεί φάνηκε να ξεμένει απο δυνάμεις, τερματίζοντας εν τέλει έκτος με επίδοση 7:02.05.

 

Το χρυσό μετάλλιο κατέκτησε ο Γερμανός Όλιβερ Τσάιντλερ (6:37.57), το ασημένιο ο Λευκορώσος Γιαουχένι Ζαλάτι (6:42.96), με το χάλκινο να καταλήγει στα χέρια του Σάιμον Φαν Ντορπ (6:44.72).
