Αποκλεισμός για Τσιτσιπά

Με πολλά προβλήματα στο σερβίς και αδυναμία να κερδίσει τους αποφασιστικούς πόντους, ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς ηττήθηκε 6-4, 6-2 από τον Ματία Μπελούτσι και αποκλείστηκε στα προημιτελικά του τουρνουά ATP 500 του Ρότερνταμ. Ο 23χρονος Ιταλός, Νο 92 στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη, πέτυχε δεύτερη συνεχόμενη νίκη-έκπληξη, μετά από εκείνη επί του Ντανιίλ Μεντβέντεφ, και πέρασε στην τετράδα, όπου θα αντιμετωπίσει τον Αυστραλό Αλεξ Ντε Μινόρ.

 

Ο Τσιτσιπάς έχασε τρία break points σε δύο διαφορετικά γκέιμ του πρώτου σετ και στο 4-4 «πλήρωσε» ένα πολύ κακό δικό του service game, όπου βρέθηκε πίσω 0-40 και τελικά το έχασε. Είχε την ευκαιρία να ισοφαρίσει, αλλά ο Μπελούτσι με τρεις διαδοχικούς πόντους έκλεισε το πρώτο σετ. Στο δεύτερο ο Ελληνας τενίστας πήρε το πρώτο γκέιμ και στη συνέχεια... κατέρρευσε, βρέθηκε πίσω με 5-1 και μοιραία γνώρισε την ήττα.
