Αποχαιρέτησε τις ΜΜΑ ο σπουδαίος Dustin Poirier

Σε έντονο κλίμα φόρτισης ο σπουδαίος Dustin Poirier αποχαίτησε το κλουβί, το δεύτερο σπίτι του. Ο Diamond είχε προαποφασίσει πως ο αγώνας με τον Max Holloway θα ήταν ο τελευταίος της καριέρας του όποιο και αν ήταν το αποτέλεσμα. 

 

Ο Max Holloway από την άλλη πήρε τη νίκη από τον πρώην διεκδικητή και διατήρησε τη ζώνη BMF που είχε κερδίσει από τον Justin Gaethje. 

 

Ο μεγάλος μαχητής Dustin Poirier αποχαιρέτησε τις ΜΜΑ με δύο αγώνες φωτιά, ο τελευταίος κόντρα στον Max και ο αμέσως προηγούμενος με τον Islam Makhachev. Η ήττα από τον Holloway πέρασε σε δεύτερη μοίρα, αφού το αντίο σε αυτόν τον σπουδαίο αθλητή, αλλά και άνθρωπο ήταν το ζουμί στην όλη βραδιά.
