Δέκατος ο Κοκκαλάνης στην ιστιοπλοϊα

Την δέκατη θέση στην ενδέκατη ιστιοδρομία κατέλαβε ο Βύρων Κοκκαλάνης στο windsurfing (σ.σ. κατηγορία σκαφών IQFoil) της ιστιοπλοΐας για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες.

Μετά το αποτέλεσμα αυτό, ο Έλληνας πρωταθλητής «ανέβηκε» στην 19η θέση της γενικής με 135 βαθμούς ποινής, στο αγώνισμα που φιλοξενείται στη Μασσαλία.

Στο μεταξύ, ο Ιταλός Νικολό Ρένα ήταν ο νικητής στην ενδέκατη κούρσα, ενώ την πρώτη τριάδα συμπλήρωσαν ο Νεοζηλανδός Τζος Άρμιτ και ο Πολωνός Πάβελ Ταρνόφσκι. Ο Αυστραλός Γκρέι Μόρις παραμένει επικεφαλής στη γενική κατάταξη με 45 βαθμούς ποινής, όσους έχει και ο Πολωνός Πάβελ Ταρνόφσκι που είναι δεύτερος, ενώ στην τρίτη θέση «σκαρφάλωσε» ο Άρμιτ με 52 βαθμούς ποινής.
