Δευτεραθλητής Ευρώπης ο συγκλονιστικός Καραλής με άλμα στα 5, 87 μ.!

 

Έγραψε ιστορία ο Εμμανουήλ Καραλής πραγματοποιώντας μία εκπληκτική εμφάνιση στον τελικό του επί κοντώ στο ευρωπαϊκό πρωτάθλημα στίβου της Ρώμης.

 

Ο Έλληνας πρωταθλητής του επί κοντώ χρειάστηκε να ξεπεράσει και τον εαυτό του για να ανέβει στο δεύτερο σκαλί του βάθρου και να κατακτήσει το ασημένιο μετάλλιο, πίσω μόνο από τον θρυλικό Ντουμπλάντις που δεν έχει αντίπαλο.

 

Με άλμα στα 5.87μ., το οποίο αποτελεί ατομικό ρεκόρ, ο Εμμανουήλ Καραλής χάρισε στην Ελλάδα το τρίτο μετάλλιο της στο ευρωπαϊκό πρωτάθλημα στίβου, μετά το χρυσό του Τεντόγλου και το ασημένιο της Στεφανίδη.
