Δεύτερη σερί παρουσία και τέταρτη συνολικά σε τελικό Κυπέλλου για τον ΟΦΗ!

Ο ΟΦΗ εξασφάλισε την πρόκρισή του στον τελικό του Κυπέλλου, επικρατώντας 1-0 του Λεβαδειακού στη Βοιωτία. Η ομάδα του Ηρακλείου βρέθηκε από το 34' με δέκα παίκτες λόγω της αποβολής του Σαλσέδο, όμως παρά το αριθμητικό μειονέκτημα διατήρησε συνοχή και ψυχραιμία, καταφέρνοντας να ανοίξει το σκορ στο 45' με τον Λαμπρόπουλο. Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο ο ΟΦΗ διαχειρίστηκε σωστά το προβάδισμα, άντεξε στην πίεση των γηπεδούχων και κράτησε το αποτέλεσμα μέχρι το τέλος.

 

Η πρόκριση αυτή έχει ιστορική σημασία, καθώς αποτελεί τη δεύτερη συνεχόμενη παρουσία του συλλόγου σε τελικό και την τέταρτη συνολικά στην πορεία του θεσμού.
