Δύσκολη πρόκριση για Τσιτσιπά

Με δύο σετ κερδισμένα στο τάι-μπρέικ (7-6, 7-6), ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς κατάφερε να ξεπεράσει το εμπόδιο του Γερμανού Χένρι Σκουίρε και να προκριθεί στους «16» του τουρνουά του Χάλε.

 

Στο πρώτο φετινό παιχνίδι του στο γρασίδι, ο Ελληνας τενίστας συνάντησε πολλές δυσκολίες απέναντι σε έναν άσημο αντίπαλο (Νο 181 στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη), δεν κατάφερε να «σπάσει» το σερβίς του αντιπάλου του και χρειάστηκε να επιστρατεύσει την εμπειρία του στα τάι-μπρέικ, ιδιαίτερα στο πρώτο, στο οποίο νίκησε 9-7.

 

Στο δεύτερο τα πράγματα εξελίχθηκαν πιο εύκολα για τον Τσιτσιπά (7-2), που στον επόμενο γύρο περιμένει τον νικητή της αναμέτρησης ανάμεσα στον Γερμανό Γιαν-Λέναρντ Στρουφ και τον Ιταλό Λουτσιάνο Νταρντέρι.
