Η Τεχεράνη θα εξακολουθήσει να ασκεί τα κυριαρχικά της δικαιώματα στα Στενά του Ορμούζ ανεξαρτήτως κόστους, διαμηνύει ο υφυπουργός Εξωτερικών

Τα Στενά του Ορμούζ αποτελούν αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της εθνικής ασφάλειας του Ιράν και η χώρα θα εξακολουθήσει να ασκεί τα κυριαρχικά της δικαιώματα εκεί ανεξαρτήτως κόστους, τόνισε σήμερα ο ιρανός υφυπουργός Εξωτερικών Καζέμ Γαριμπαμπαντί σε συνέντευξή του στην ιρανική κρατική τηλεόραση. Υπογράμμισε επίσης ότι η Τεχεράνη δεν δεσμεύεται καθ’ οιονδήποτε τρόπο πλέον από το Μνημόνιο Συνεννόησης (MoU) με τις ΗΠΑ.

 

Από την πλευρά τους, οι Φρουροί της Επανάστασης διεμήνυσαν πως όσο συνεχίζονται οι αμερικανικές στρατιωτικές επιχειρήσεις στην περιοχή, «ούτε σταγόνα πετρελαίου ή φυσικού αερίου» δεν θα εξαχθεί από τη Μέση Ανατολή, όπως μεταδίδουν ιρανικά μέσα ενημέρωσης.

 

Οι Φρουροί της Επανάστασης υποστήριξαν πως οι αμερικανικές επιθέσεις δεν θα έχουν άλλο αποτέλεσμα πέρα από το να καθυστερήσει το άνοιγμα των Στενών του Ορμούζ. Ανέφεραν επίσης ότι εξαπέλυσαν επιθέσεις εναντίον αμερικανικών στρατιωτικών εγκαταστάσεων σε Κουβέιτ και Μπαχρέιν εν είδει αντιποίνων για τα αμερικανικά πλήγματα στο Ιράν.
