Με Μπερετίνι στους ημιτελικούς του Γκντάανσκ ο Τσιτσιπάς

Ο Ματέο Μπερετίνι (νο82 στον κόσμο) θα είναι ο αντίπαλος του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά στους ημιτελικούς του τουρνουά που διεξάγεται στο Γκστάαντ της Ελβετίας. 

 

Ο Ιταλός τενίστας επικράτησε το βράδυ της Παρασκευής (19/7) με 2-0 σετ επί του Καναδού, Φέλιξ-Οζέρ Αλιασίμ, στο τελευταίο παιχνίδι των προημιτελικών του τουρνουά 250 της ATP και θα παίξει με τον Έλληνα πρωταθλητή με φόντο τον τελικό της διοργάνωσης. 

 

Το ματς κρίθηκε στο τάι μπρέικ και στα δύο σετ με τον Μπερετίνι να κάνει δύσκολα το 1-0 με 7-6 (7), ενώ στο δεύτερο κυριάρχησε στο καθοριστικό game παραχωτώντας μόλις 2 πόντους!

 

Η αναμέτρηση του Τσιτσιπά (νο 1 του ταμπλό) με τον Μπερετίνι είναι προγραμματισμένη να διεξαχθεί το μεσημέρι του Σαββάτου (20/07) και το πρώτο σερβίς θα γίνει όχι νωρίτερα από τις 14:30 (ώρα Ελλάδας).

 

Πριν από τον αγώνα του κορυφαίου Έλληνα τενίστα, στο κεντρικό court της διοργάνωσης που διεξάγεται επί ελβετικού εδάφους, θα «μονομαχήσουν» οι Γιαν Λέναρντ Στρουφ και Κουεντίν Καλίς.
