Ο Τραμπ χαρακτηρίζει «αρκετά καλή» τη συνάντηση των απεσταλμένων του με τον Πούτιν

Ο πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ Ντόναλντ Τραμπ δήλωσε σήμερα ότι η συνάντηση των απεσταλμένων του, Στιβ Γουίτκοφ και Τζάρεντ Κούσνερ, με τον ρώσο ομόλογό του Βλαντίμιρ Πούτιν στη Μόσχα ήταν «αρκετά καλή», χωρίς όμως να υπεισέλθει σε λεπτομέρειες σχετικά με τα επόμενα βήματα στις διαπραγματεύσεις με στόχο τον τερματισμό του πολέμου στην Ουκρανία.

 

«Θα ήθελε να τερματίσει τον πόλεμο», είπε ο Τραμπ για τον Πούτιν, προτού διευκρινίσει ότι αυτή ήταν η «εντύπωση» που αποκόμισαν οι Γουίτκοφ και Κούσνερ στη συνάντηση με τον ισχυρό άνδρα του Κρεμλίνου.

 

«Δεν μπορώ να σας πω τι θα προκύψει από αυτήν τη συνάντηση, γιατί χρειάζονται δύο στο τανγκό», είπε ο Τραμπ σε δημοσιογράφους, αναφερόμενος προφανώς στην ουκρανική πλευρά
