Συνάντηση Κυρ. Μητσοτάκη με Μάκι Σαλ: Στο επίκεντρο η υποψηφιότητα για τον ΟΗΕ και ο ρόλος της Αφρικής στη διεθνή διακυβέρνηση

Με τον πρώην πρόεδρο της Σενεγάλης και υποψήφιο για τη θέση του γενικού γραμματέα του ΟΗΕ, Μάκι Σαλ, συναντήθηκε στο Μέγαρο Μαξίμου ο πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης.

 

Με τον γενικό διευθυντή του ΔΟΑΕ και υποψήφιο γγ του ΟΗΕ, Ραφαέλ Γκρόσι, συναντήθηκε ο Κυρ. Μητσοτάκης

Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης, ο κ. Σαλ παρουσίασε στον πρωθυπουργό το πρόγραμμα και τις βασικές προτεραιότητες της υποψηφιότητάς του για την ηγεσία των Ηνωμένων Εθνών.

 

Παράλληλα, οι δύο άνδρες αντάλλαξαν απόψεις για τον ρόλο της Αφρικής και των χωρών του Παγκόσμιου Νότου στο σύστημα της παγκόσμιας διακυβέρνησης, καθώς και για τις προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζει ο Οργανισμός Ηνωμένων Εθνών στο σημερινό διεθνές περιβάλλον.
