Συνάντηση Κυρ. Μητσοτάκη με τον γερουσιαστή των ΗΠΑ Κόρι Μπούκερ

Το εξαιρετικό επίπεδο των ελληνοαμερικανικών σχέσεων, αλλά και της ελληνοαμερικανικής αμυντικής συνεργασίας τέθηκε επι τάπητος κατά τη συνάντηση του πρωθυπουργού, Κυριακου Μητσοτάκη με τον Γερουσιαστή των ΗΠΑ Cory Booker.

 

Συζητήθηκαν, επίσης, ζητήματα διεθνούς και περιφερειακού ενδιαφέροντος, με έμφαση στις εξελίξεις στην Ουκρανία, την Ανατολική Μεσόγειο και τη Μέση Ανατολή, όπως σημειώνουν κυβερνητικές πηγές.

 

Σύμφωνα με τις ίδιες πηγές ο πρωθυπουργός υπογράμμισε τον ρόλο της Ελλάδας ως σταθερού και αξιόπιστου εταίρου και συμμάχου και ως πυλώνα σταθερότητας και ασφάλειας στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.
