Τηλεφωνική συνομιλία Κυρ. Πιερρακάκη με τον πρόεδρο του Eurogroup

Τηλεφωνική συνομιλία με τον πρόεδρο του Eurogroup και υπουργό Οικονομικών της Ιρλανδίας Πασκάλ Ντόναχιου, είχε σήμερα ο υπουργός Εθνικής Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών Κυριάκος Πιερρακάκης.

 

Οι δύο υπουργοί αντάλλαξαν απόψεις για τις μακροοικονομικές προοπτικές, τις διεθνείς προκλήσεις και συζήτησαν για θέματα της ημερήσιας διάταξης των επόμενων συνεδριάσεων του Eurogroup και του ECOFIN, στη Βαρσοβία στις 11-12 Απριλίου.

 

Κατά την επικοινωνία τους, έμφαση δόθηκε στις οικονομικές επιδόσεις της ευρωζώνης, στη χρηματοδότηση των αυξημένων αναγκών για την άμυνα, καθώς και στην προώθηση των ψηφιακών πτυχών της νομισματικής πολιτικής.

 

Ο Κυριάκος Πιερρακάκης αναφέρθηκε ιδιαίτερα στην αναβάθμιση της ελληνικής οικονομίας από τον οίκο Moody's και τόνισε ότι η Ελλάδα θα τηρεί στο ακέραιο τις δεσμεύσεις της για τα πλεονάσματα, τη μείωση του χρέους και τις πρωτογενείς δαπάνες. Όπως επεσήμανε ο Έλληνας υπουργός Οικονομικών, η προσήλωση στη δημοσιονομική σταθερότητα και οι μεταρρυθμίσεις είναι η μόνη στέρεα βάση για την προώθηση αναπτυξιακών πολιτικών που θα οδηγήσουν στην αναβάθμιση της ζωής των Ελλήνων πολιτών.
