Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος-προϋπολογισμός: Πλεόνασμα 1,4 δισ. ευρώ στο οκτάμηνο Ιανουαρίου-Αυγούστου 2024

Στα 4,9 δισ. ευρώ ευρώ μειώθηκε το πρωτογενές πλεόνασμα του προϋπολογισμού σε ταμειακή βάση στο οκτάμηνο Ιανουαρίου-Αυγούστου, έναντι 5,6 δισ. ευρώ το αντίστοιχο διάστημα πέρυσι.

Η ομοσπονδιακή τράπεζα των ΗΠΑ (Fed) αποφάσισε να μειώσει κατά 50 μονάδες, στο 4,75-5% τα επιτόκια βάσης, για πρώτη φορά από το 2020, ενώ εξετάζει το ενδεχόμενο να προχωρήσει και σε δεύτερη μείωση, κατά μισή μονάδα, μέχρι τα τέλη του 2024, ώστε να φτάσουν στο 4,25-4,50.
